Turizmde Dijital Göçebe Araştırmaları: Sistematik Literatür Taraması

Abstract

Seyahat, dijital göçebelerin yaşam tarzının önemli bir kısmını oluşturduğundan, dijital göçebelerin incelenmesi için turizm araştırmaları doğal bir başlangıç noktası oluşturmaktadır. Dijital göçebelerin sayısı her geçen yıl artarken bu kitlenin yarattığı turizm potansiyeli de artmaktadır. Dijital göçebelerin yarattığı bu turizm potansiyeli bugün Estonya ve Barbados gibi ülkeler için büyük bir potansiyel yaratmaktadır. Gelecekte uzaktan erişim ile çalışma oranlarının daha da artacağı düşünüldüğünde bu potansiyelin giderek büyümesi beklenmektedir. Çalışmanın amacı uluslararası yazında “digital nomad tourism” olarak kabul görmüş kavramsal ifadenin Türkçe yazındaki karşılığını tartışmak ve dijitalleşme ile hızla gelişen bu kavramın turizm potansiyeli hakkında geniş bir kavramsal çerçeve oluşturmaktır. Çalışmanın amacı çerçevesinde, nitel veri toplama yöntemlerinden arşiv- doküman taraması ve alan yazın incelemesi yöntemleri bir arada kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, betimsel analiz yöntemi aracılığı ile yorumlanmıştır. Konuya ilişkin uluslararası yazın incelenmiş, “digital nomad tourism” konulu araştırmalar ve bulgular taranmıştır. Aynı zamanda arşiv doküman tarama aşamasında, yerli yabancı dijital tabanlı medya araçlarında kavram araştırılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın “dijital göçebe turizmi” olarak adlandırılan “dijital nomad tourism” konusunda genel bir bakış açısı sunması, konuya ilişkin güncel literatür bilgisini derlemesi ve Türkçe alan yazında ele alınmamış olmasından dolayı kavramsal çerçevenin tartışmaya açılarak kavramın daha da netleştirilebilmesine katkı sunması beklenmektedir.
