Algılanan Yönetici ve Çalışma Arkadaşı Desteğinin Yenilikçi İş Davranışına Etkisi: Otel Çalışanları Örneği

Year 2024, Volume: 11 Issue: 2, 137 - 151, 26.12.2024

Abstract

Year 2024, Volume: 11 Issue: 2, 137 - 151, 26.12.2024

Abstract

The research testing the effect of hotel employees’ perceived supervisor and coworker support on innovative work behavior was conducted with 388 participants in 5-star hotels in Antalya. Questionnaire technique was utilized in the quantitative research. After the data obtained were subjected to frequency, reliability and correlation analyses, latent variable structural model analysis was used for hypothesis testing. As a result of the analyses, firstly, a strong positive relationship was found between perceived supervisor support, perceived coworker support and innovative work behavior. There is also a strong positive relationship between perceived coworker support and innovative work behavior. As a result of the hypothesis tests, it was determined that perceived supervisor support has a positive effect on innovative work behavior. In this case, H1 hypothesis of the research is accepted. When the second hypothesis of the study, the effect of perceived supervisor support on innovative work behavior, was tested, the existence of a positive effect was determined. In this case, H2 hypothesis of the research is accepted. However, perceived supervisor support has a greater effect than perceived coworker support. As a result, it can be said that perceived supervisor and coworker support have an effect on innovative work behavior in terms of 5-star accommodation establishments.
