Burdur ilindeki arkeo turizm alanlarında turist memnuniyeti, destinasyon memnuniyetinin ölçülmesi ve turist rehberliği hizmetlerinin önem-performans analizi

Abstract

Akdeniz bölgesinde yer alan Burdur ili doğal güzellikleri ve arkeolojik miraslarıyla ön plana çıkmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı, Burdur ilini ziyaret eden turistlerin destinasyon memnuniyetini ve turist memnuniyeti ile turist rehberlerinin ziyaretçiler tarafından algılanan önem ve performansını değerlendirmektir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Burdur ilinde Sagalassos Antik Kenti ve Kibyra Antik Kenti ile Doğa Tarihi ve Arkeoloji Müzesini ziyaret eden 449 ziyaretçiden kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile veriler toplanmıştır. Verilere SPSS 22.0 programında frekans, ortalama, korelasyon ile Excel programında önem-performans analizi yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, Burdur’u ziyaret eden turistlerin destinasyon memnuniyeti (x̄=3,77), turist memnuniyeti (x̄=3,73), turist rehberliği hizmetlerinin önemi (x̄=4,00) ve performansı (x̄=3,73) yüksek çıkmıştır. Araştırmada turist memnuniyeti, destinasyon memnuniyeti, turist rehberlerinin önemi ve performansı arasında pozitif ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Burdur arkeo-turizm destinasyonu için turist rehberlerinin hizmet sunumunda yoğunlaşılması gereken özellikler, korunması gereken özellikler ve düşük öncelikler belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca Burdur ili arkeo-turizmin gelişmesinde alınması gereken önlemler ve paydaşlara öneriler sunulmuştur.

Measurement of tourist satisfaction, destination satisfaction and importance performance analysis of tourist guiding services in archeo tourism areas in Burdur province

Abstract

Burdur province located in the Mediterranean region of Turkiye, stands out with its archaeological heritage and natural beauties. The aim of the study is to assess the satisfaction of travelers who visit Burdur province, as well as the perceived importance and performance of tourist guides. The research employed the survey technique, which is a quantitative research procedure. The data were collected from 449 visitors who visited the Museum of Natural History and Archaeology, the Ancient City of Kibyra, and the Ancient City of Sagalassos in Burdur province using the convenience sampling procedure. The data were subjected to frequency, mean, correlation analyses using the SPSS 22.0 program and significance-performance analysis using the excel program. As a result, tourists visiting Burdur have high satisfaction with the destination (x̄=3.77), tourist satisfaction (x̄=3.73), the importance of tourist guidance services (x¢=4.00) and performance (x̃=3.73). The research has revealed a positive correlation between the importance and performance of tourist guides, tourism satisfaction, and destination satisfaction. The service provision of tourist guides for the Burdur archeo-tourism destination has been determined to focus on features that should be protected, features that should be concentrated on, and features that should be given minimal priority. Furthermore, the presentation focused on the development of Archeo-tourism in Burdur province and provided stakeholders with recommendations.
