Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test validity and reliability of the Turkish version of Counselor Activity Self-Efficacy Scales (CASES). The sample of the study consisted of 470 senior counselor trainees enrolled in Department of Guidance and Counseling at eleven universities. The findings indicated that, similarly to original form of the scale, the three-factor model is supported by using the confirmatory factor analysis for Turkish form. Also, models for each subscales is supported. The results of convergent validity indicated that PDÖÖ positively correlated with Counselor Skill Scale and similar subscales of scales also positively correlated to each other. The internal consistency coefficients of CASES was .98, The internal consistency coefficients of subscales were, .92 for Helping Skill Self-efficacy, .95 for Session Management Self-efficacy and .95 for Counseling Challenges Self-efficacy. In conclusion, this study provided preliminary support for the psychometric properties of the Turkish version of the CASES and the scale can be used for measuring counseling self-efficacy in Turkish counselor trainees

Psikolojik Danışma Öz-Yeterlik Ölçeği Türkçe Formu’nun Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Year 2013, Volume: 4 Issue: 40, 212 - 221, 30.09.2013

Abstract

Öz: Bu çalışmanın amacı Psikolojik Danışma Öz-Yeterlik Ölçeği Türkçe Formu’nun (PDÖÖ) geçerlik
ve güvenirliğini test etmektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu değişik illerde bulunan on bir üniversitenin
