REVİEW OF THE BOOK "HANDBOOK OF TERRORİSM CONCEPT, DEFİNİTİON, CAUSES, HİSTORİCAL PROCESS, TYPES, METHODS OF FİGHTİNG"
Abstract
Dr İskender Karakaya, the book editor, was born in Izmit in 1984. In 2017, he completed his PhD on "The Transformation of Global Terrorism: From Al-Qaeda to ISIS." Currently, he is a Dr. Lecturer in the Department of International Relations at Yozgat Bozok University, where he has been working since April 2018. Since April 2018, he has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations at Yozgat Bozok University, researching terrorism, Middle East studies, US foreign policy, Salafism, Iraq-Syria, war studies, and regional studies. The book, which has been edited by Karakaya, comprises three primary chapters. The sections are designated as "Terrorism, Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism", "International-Supranational Organizations and Terrorism" and "Terrorism, Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism in Regional Context". Each chapter consists of fourteen, five, and ten sub-sections respectively, with each sub-section examining the connection between terrorism and various subjects, types, regions, and countries.
