PROBLEM ÇÖZME BECERİLERİ NELERDİR? PISA PROBLEM ÇÖZME ÇERÇEVELERİNE DAYALI BİR İNCELEME

Abstract

Bu araştırmada Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2003 ve 2012 problem çözme çerçevelerinde yer alan problem çözme becerilerine ve problem çözme performans düzeylerine yönelik tanımların ve tanımlarda yıllar içinde meydana gelen değişimlerin ortaya koyulması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda PISA 2003 ve 2012 problem çözme çerçevelerine ilişkin bilgiler içeren PISA raporları betimsel analiz yoluyla incelenmiştir. Bu inceleme sonucunda, PISA 2012 uygulamasında kullanılan etkileşimli problem durumları sayesinde, PISA 2003 problem çözme çerçevesinde yer almayan keşfetme, planlama ve izleme gibi önemli becerilerin dahil edildiği ortaya konmuştur. Ayrıca, PISA 2012 çerçevesinde problem çözmede daha fazla sayıda performans düzeyinin daha ayrıntılı tanımlanabildiği görülmüştür. PISA 2003 ve 2012 problem çözme çerçevelerindeki tanımların karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmesi sınıf içinde özellikle etkileşimli problem durumlarının kullanımına ve problem durumunu keşfetme, planlama ve izleme becerilerinin geliştirilmesinin önemine işaret etmiştir.
