Neslihan Arıkan Fidan completed her undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Sport Sciences of Gazi University and was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2021. She has authored numerous articles, books, and book chapters in the fields of sociology of sport, sports history, sports museology, sports education, and research ethics. She has taken part in various national and international academic projects and currently serves as a faculty member at Gazi University, where she teaches at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She is also pursuing a second doctoral degree in Educational Sciences at Sorbonne Université Paris Cité under the supervision of François-Xavier Bernard. Conducting her doctoral research in relation to the Éducation, Discours, Apprentissages (EDA) research environment at Université Paris Cité, Arıkan Fidan brings together perspectives from educational sciences and interdisciplinary research in her academic work. As part of her academic activities in France, she spent three academic terms as a visiting researcher at Sorbonne University. She is a member of the Association des Chercheurs en Sciences de l’Éducation (AECSE), one of the leading academic associations in the field of educational sciences in France.

28.10.1975 tarihinde Edirne'nin İpsala ilçesi Tevfikiye Köyünde doğdu. İlk, orta ve lise öğrenimini sırasıyla, Keşan Fatih İlkokulu, Keşan Atatürk Ortaokulu ve Keşan Lisesinde tamamladı. 1994 yılında girdiği Trakya Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği Bölümünden 1998 yılında bölüm 1. olarak mezun oldu. 1998-1999 eğitim öğretim döneminde Özel Edirne Kolejinde Beden eğitimi öğretmeni olarak görev yaptı. 1999 yılında Trakya Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği Bölümüne Araştırma görevlisi olarak atandı. Yüksek Lisansını Trakya Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü Beden Eğitimi ve Spor ABD'de tamamladı. 2005-2009 yıllarında Doktorasını tamamlamak üzere 2547 saylı kanunun 35. maddesi uyarınca, Ege Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü Hareket ve Antrenman Bilimleri ABD'de görevlendirildi. 2009 yılında Trakya Üniv. Kırkpınar Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokuluna Yrd.Doç.Dr. olarak atandı. 2010 yılında YÖK tarafından Öğretim Üyelerine sağlanan destekler kapsamında, California State Üniversitesi-Los Angeles, Beslenme ve Kinesiyoloji Bölümünde, 3 ay süreyle misafir öğretim elemanı olarak gözlemlerde bulundu. Lisans, Yüksek Lisans ve Doktora düzeyinde; Egzersiz / Spor Fizyolojisi, Farklı Egzersiz Modalitelerinin Fizyolojik Temelleri, Kinesiyoloji derslerini yürütmektedir. Başlıca çalışma alanları Kronobiyoloji ve Fiziksel Performans, Farklı Isınma Protokollerinin Sportif Performansa Etkileri ve Farklı Rejenerasyon yöntemlerinin etkilerinin incelenmesidir.12 Nisan 2016 tarihinde Doçent, 06 Mart 2024 tarihinde de Profesör ünvanı aldı. 2022-2023 Akademik yılında University of Louisiana at Lafayet’te Visiting Assistant Professor olarak Lisans ve Yüksek Lisans düzeyinde dersler yürüttü (HLTH 405 - Nutrition for Exercise and Sport, KNES 393 - Teaching Lifetime Sports, KNES 455 - Advanced Periodization and Prescription of Resistance Training, KNSE 520 - Research Seminar). American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) ve National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) üyesidir. NSCA-Certified Personal Trainers (NSCA-CPT®) belgesi sahibidir. Evli ve 1 çocuk babasıdır.
Kenan Erdağı, Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi Ahmet Keleşoğlu Eğitim Fakültesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Bölümü’nde Doçent Doktor olarak görev yapmaktadır. Lisans eğitimini Selçuk Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi Bölümü’nde (1994-1998), yüksek lisansını Selçuk Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü Antrenörlük Eğitimi programında (2012-2013), doktorasını ise aynı üniversitenin Anatomi programında (2017) tamamlamıştır.
Halter antrenörlüğünde uzun yıllara dayanan deneyime sahip olan Dr. Erdağı, Olimpiyat Hazırlık Merkezlerinde koordinatörlük ve teknik direktörlük yapmış, ulusal ve uluslararası düzeyde başarılar elde eden sporcular yetiştirmiştir. Türkiye Halter Federasyonu Eğitim Kurulu Başkanlığı görevini yürütmekte olup, halter alanındaki çalışmalarıyla birçok kez ödüllendirilmiştir.
Uluslararası hakemli dergilerde yayımlanmış 25 makalesi, 2 kitabı ve 3 kitap bölümü bulunan Dr. Erdağı’nın araştırma ilgi alanları arasında morfometrik analizler, kas kuvveti ve antropometrik ölçümler ve fonksiyonel egzersizlerin kinematik analizleri yer almaktadır.
Assistant Professor and Researcher in Physical Education and Sport Sciences, with a primary research focus on performance assessment and testing in high-performance and elite sport. My work addresses sports performance evaluation, training monitoring, physiological and motor testing, and applied sport science methodologies. I serve as a reviewer for internationally recognized journals and as a member of editorial boards and scientific committees. I have authored and co-authored over 80 scientific publications through international collaborations.
Wiktoria Staśkiewicz-Bartecka, PhD in Health Sciences, is a Polish clinical and sports dietitian as well as a research and teaching academic affiliated with the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. She holds the position of assistant professor at the Department of Food Technology and Quality Assessment within the Chair of Dietetics at the Faculty of Public Health in Bytom. She obtained her doctoral degree in 2022, while simultaneously developing her academic and teaching career in the field of dietetics. In 2026, she completed her habilitation based on research concerning eating disorders among football players.
Her scientific interests focus primarily on nutrition in physically active individuals, particularly athletes, as well as on eating disorders in sport. In her research, she addresses the issue of orthorexia—an unhealthy obsession with consuming “healthy” foods—examining its prevalence and determinants among athletes of various disciplines, especially football players. She also studies body composition, nutritional knowledge, and the influence of psychosocial factors and social media on dietary behaviors and body image.
She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications at both national and international levels and has participated in research projects conducted in collaboration with foreign institutions. Her work contributes significantly to the development of sports dietetics, particularly in the context of preventing eating disorders and promoting healthy dietary patterns among athletes.
In addition to her academic work, she is also engaged in professional dietetic practice, working with professional athletes, physically active individuals, and patients requiring nutritional support. In her approach, she combines scientific knowledge with practical experience, emphasizing the importance of individualized care and nutrition education in promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Hüseyin Çevik is an associate professor of the recreation department at the Eskisehir Technical University (ESTÜ). His primary research interests are applied measurement and/or applied studies examining recreation management and consumer behaviors in leisure. Dr. Çevik has published extensively and is a frequent presenter at international and national conferences. His research has been published in international journals such as Leisure Studies, International Journal of Sports Marketing and Sponsorship, Loisir et Société / Society and Leisure, Managing Sport and Leisure, and Tourism: An International Interdisciplinary Journal. In addition, he has served the profession in various roles, such as the Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Sports Marketing and Sponsorship, member of the Sport Sciences Association, the Recreation Studies and Research Association, and the European College of Sport Science (ECSS).
