Clay spools which came into prominence with the studies in recent years, appear in the Neolithic Period and become widespread especially during the 2nd Millennium BC in the Aegean world. According to the archaeological evidence, scholars agree on the function of these objects as weaving tools. Although a large number of sites with clay spools were determined in the Aegean, only a few settlements are known in the Western Anatolia. In this paper, a new settlement to the map of spread of clay spools in Western Anatolia has been added with the help of Bayraklı data. Additionally, it was verified that Bayraklı spools constitute an integrity with the other sites, both in the Aegean and Western Anatolia, from the point of chronological and typological aspect
