ss. 3-4'te yayınlanan bu yazıyı Hayrettin Rüştü takma adıyla kaleme alan kişinin Reşat Nuri Güntekin
olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu takma adla eserler verdiği bilinen Güntekin, bahsi
geçen yazıyı kaleme aldığında 23 yaşında idi.
