Abstract
21. yüzyılda ihtiyaç duyulan bilgi, beceri, tutum ve değerler hakkında ortak bir anlayış geliştirmek üzere OECD yürütücülüğünde politika yapıcılar, okul liderleri, öğretmen, öğrenci ve alan uzmanları ile birlikte Eğitimin Geleceği ve Becerileri-2030 başlıklı bir rapor hazırlanmıştır. İlgili raporda, eğitim sistemlerinde okutulan zorunlu ya da seçmeli tüm derslerin genel işlevleri sorgulanmış ve mevcut müfredatlar eleştirel bakış açısıyla yeniden yorumlanmıştır. Bu inceleme süreci, “tarih eğitiminde ilerleme” konusu ile “bu ilerlemenin ölçülmesi” hususunu bir problem olarak karşımıza çıkarmıştır. Bu iki önemli sorunun çözülmesi konusunda tarihsel düşünme ve araştırma yöntemlerinin müfredatlara dahil edilmesi zorunluluğu vurgulanmıştır. Tarih eğitiminde öğrenme ilerleyişini konu alan bu çeviri, bu konudaki uygulamaların okuyucu ile paylaşılması üzere hazırlanmıştır. Bu çerçevede yazı içeriğinde tarih programlarında uygulanan farklı tarihsel kavram sürümlerinin bir karşılaştırılmasına yer verilmiş; İngiltere, Malta, Singapur, Avustralya ve Kanada gibi ülkelerin tarih dersleri ile kazanım hedeflerine değinilmiştir. Öğrencilerin tarihsel düşünme alanında elde edeceği beceriler, yaş ve sınıf düzeylerine göre sıralanmıştır. Buna ilave olarak, İngiliz tarih eğitimi akademisyeni Alex Ford (2016) tarafından geliştirilentarihsel sorgulama sürecine ilişkin altı kavram eksenli detaylı bir tablo da paylaşılmıştır.

2- Early Release:
According to the TUHED's new publication policy, the articles which have completed the evaluation process will be published online-first. It will no longer be necessary for manuscripts to wait until the “next issue”. Early Release articles will receive an international identification code (DOI), and identified page numbers.
3- Ethics Committee Approval:
In accordance with the ULAKBİM decision of 25 February 2020, Ethics Committee Approval must be obtained for studies on people (without age restrictions), this approval must be specified in the Method section of the article and signed Ethics Committee Approval must be uploaded to the system. Applications that do not meet these requirements will not be considered for publication.
4- New Publication Policy
Beginning from Spring 2021 issue TUHED will require all Turkish manuscripts to contain a full-text English translation. Manuscripts submitted in Turkish will be requested to have full-text English translation if they are accepted for publication after the review process.
