Anlatısal Haritalama ve Yazınsal Kronografi: Leylâ Erbil’in Eserlerinde Mekân ve Zaman Diyalektiği

Öz

Kurmaca yapıtın fiziksel ve duyusal sınırlarını, yani anlatısal topoğrafyasını söylem halinde yapılandıran mekân ve zaman, çağdaş tahkiye formasyonunun algısal haritasını ve kronografisini çeşitli bilişsel ve yazınsal ölçeklerle işleyen iki ayrı helezonik kuvvettir. Bu anlamda her iki kurmaca imleç de geleneksel, içe kapalı ve tek boyutlu yapısal belirlenmişliklerinden sıyrılarak rejeneratif bir derinliğe ve çok boyutluluğa ulaşır. Böylelikle kurmaca levhaları hareketlendiren, okurun yazınsal takibini başkalaştıran yeni bir anlatısal mobilite ortaya çıkar. Bu anlatısal mobilite; çağdaş tahkiye kompozisyonunu, özgün bir haritalamanın ve zamansallığın ışığında yeniden ölçeklendirir. Leylâ Erbil’in yapıtları işte bu tür bir mekân ve zaman diyalektiğinin; yeni bir kurmaca geometri ve mobilite meydana getirdiği, yeni bir bilişsel ve çizgisel hat ürettiği önemli edebi ürünlerdir. Onun eserleri çeşitli deneysel derinliklerle birlikte anlatı estetiğine derin ve özgün çeşitli coğrafî lensler ve kronografik bükülmeler kazandırır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Leylâ Erbil’in yapıtlarında ortaya çıkan çağdaş tahkiye pratiğine özgü mekân-zaman konfigürasyonunu, anlatısal haritalama ve yazınsal kronografi ekseninde çözümlemektir.

Narrative Mapping and Literary Chronography: The Dialectics of Space and Time in Leylâ Erbil’s Work

Öz

Space and time, which constructs the physical and metaphorical boundaries of the fictional universe, that is, its narrative topography, are helical structures which posit perceptual mapping and chronography of contemporary narrative. These fictional units extricate themselves from conventional, homogeneous structural determinations and they reach a regenerative, optical magnitude and multidimensionality. Thus, a new and experimental narrative mobility emerges which triggers topographical motions of fictional settlement and alters reader's navigational habits. This novel mobility re-scales the topography of contemporary fiction and creates an authentic temporality and mapping. Leylâ Erbil's works in Turkish literature are important literary products in which such a dialectic of space and time initiates a new fictional geometry and mobility, and produces an original literary cartography. This paper attempts to survey kaleidoscopic and interlaced generation of space and time, which appears in the works of Leyla Erbil and intrinsic to contemporary poetics, through narrative mapping and literary chronography.
