Abstract

Carl Gustav Jung’un çalışmaları psikoloji alanında kişisel ve sosyal olgular üzerinde analitik bir işlevselliğe sahiptir. Kişiliğin oluşumundan gelmiş olduğu noktaya kadar geçen süreçte yapmış olduğu bu çalışmalar bilinç, bilinçaltı ve bilinçdışının bilişsel ve davranışsal örgütlenmelerini ortaya çıkarmıştır. Psikanalist araştırmalarının kuramsal çerçevesini psişik örüntülerle geliştiren bilim insanının psikoloji camiasına kazandırdığı çalışmalardan biri de arketiplerdir. Bireyin genetik kodlarından varoluşsal davranış kalıplarına kadar inceleme alanı oluşturan bu arketipler Jung’a göre insan deneyimlerinin ilk basamaklarıdır. Birey, bu deneyimleri simgesel olarak ifade etme eğilimini göstererek davranışları içsel ve çevresel unsurlara dayandırarak şekillendirir. Bu çalışmada Nilgün Marmara’nın Kuğu Ezgisi adlı şiiri Jung’un arketip kavramından hareketle incelenecek; gölge arketipinin şiir öznesi etrafındaki tespiti ve etkileri değerlendirilecektir.

THE SHADOW ARCHETYPE IN THE POEM TITLED KUĞU EZGİSİ BY NILGÜN MARMARA

Abstract

Carl Gustav Jung's work has an analytical functionality on personal and social phenomena in the field of psychology. These studies, which he has done in the process from the formation of the personality to the point it has come, have revealed the cognitive and behavioral organizations of the conscious, subconscious and unconscious. One of the studies that the scientist, who developed the theoretical framework of psychoanalyst research with psychic patterns, brought to the psychology community is archetypes. According to Jung, archetypes, which constitute the field of study from the genetic codes of the individual to the existential patterns, are the first steps of human experience. The individual tends to express these experiences symbolically and shapes their behaviors based on internal and environmental factors. In this study, Nilgün Marmara's poemcalled Kuğu Ezgisi will be analyzed based on Jung's concept of archetype; the determination and effects of the shadow archetype around the subject of the poem will be evaluated.
