Bazı Tıbbi Bitki ve Yabancı Ot Ekstraktlarının Biberin Çimlenme ve Fide Gelişimi Üzerine Etkisi

Abstract

Bazı
bitkiler, yapraklarında, çiçeklerinde, meyvelerinde ve köklerinde diğer
bitkilerin büyümesini engelleyen birtakım doğal maddeler içerir.  Bazı yabancı ot, tıbbi ve aromatik bitkilerin
biberin (Capsicum annuum L.)
çimlenme ve fide gelişimi üzerine allelopatik etkilerini belirlemek amacıyla
laboratuvar ve sera denemeleri yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada, rezene (Foeniculum
vulgare)
, ebegümeci (Malva sylvestris), kırmızı yonca (Trifolium
pratense
L.), hardal (Brassica nigra), dereotu (Anethum
graveolens
), sedef otu (Ruta graveolens L.), kimyon (Cuminum
cyminum
L.) ve meyan (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) bitkilerinin su
ekstraktlarının biberde çimlenme ve fide gelişimi üzerine olan allelopatik
etkileri araştırılmıştır. Ekstraktların allelopatik etkilerinin saptanmasında
biberde tohum çimlenme oranı, fide çıkış oranı, gerçek yaprak sayısı, sürgün
boyu, gövde çapı, sürgün yaş ve kuru ağırlığı ile kök yaş ve kuru ağırlıkları
kıstas olarak alınmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları, allelopatik etkileri incelenen
bitki ekstraktlarının biberde çimlenmeyi azalttığını ve fide gelişimini
engellediğini ortaya konmuştur. Allelopatik etki ve oranının bitki türü ve
konsantrasyona bağlı olarak değiştiği saptanmıştır.
