Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Sosyal Sermaye Algıları ile Fiziksel Aktivite Motivasyonları Arasındaki İlişki

Abstract

Bu araştırmada; üniversite öğrencilerinin sosyal sermaye algıları ile fiziksel aktivite motivasyonları arasındaki ilişkiyi çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmaya Eskişehir Teknik Üniversitesi’nde eğitimine devam eden 267’si kadın 167’si erkek olmak üzere 18 yaş üstü toplam 434 öğrenci gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Araştırmada Demografik Bilgi Formu ile Demir & Cicioğlu (2018) tarafından geliştirilen Fiziksel Aktiviteye Katılım Motivasyonu Ölçeği (FAKMÖ) ve Yıldızer (2018) tarafından geliştirilen Sosyal Sermaye
Algısı Ölçeği kullanılmış, verilerin analizinde çoklu regresyon modelinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre, sosyal sermaye algısı, Yakın Aile ve Dikey Okul alt boyutları, fiziksel aktivite motivasyonunun Bireysel Nedenler alt boyutu ile pozitif ilişkilidir. Sosyal sermaye algısı, Dikey Okul ve Komşuluk alt boyutları da Çevresel Nedenler alt boyutu ile pozitif şekilde ilişkilidir. Sosyal sermaye algısı, Yakın Aile ve Dikey Okul alt boyutları Nedensizlik alt boyutu ile pozitif şekilde ilişkilidir. Öte yandan, Uzak Aile sosyal sermaye algısının Nedensizlik algısı ile negatif şekilde ilişkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu bulgular; üniversite öğrencilerinin fiziksel aktivite katılımında sosyal etkileşiminin oldukça önemli olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Bu sonuçlar; bu özel grup için oldukça ihtiyaç duyulan fiziksel aktivite müdahale planlarının hazırlanmasında sosyal etkileşim ve bu etkileşimin niteliği hususlarına özel önem verilmesi gerektiğini göstermektedir.
