The aim of this study is to examine the career planning of university students in terms of personality traits and sub-dimentions and demographic variables. The data obtained by the questionnaire applied to associate and undergraduate students at Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University were analyzed using the SPSS program. The personality traits of the students were examined in terms of fixed-mindedness, neuroticism, extraversion, adaptability, conscientiousness, open personality dimensions and it was investigated whether each dimension had an effect on career planning. According to the analysis results; It was determined that there is a positive relationship between students' personality traits and their career planning tendencies. Accordingly, as the awareness of personality traits increases, the tendency of individuals to make career planning also increases. A positive relationship has been found between the sub-dimensions of personality traits, such as the tendency to act neurotic, tendency to act extrovert, open personality, harmonious personality and conscientious personality, and career planning tendency. It has been concluded that the tendency of career planning of individuals with increased compliance, and individuals with increased tendency to behave conscientiously also increased.
