Salgının yayılmasını önlemek adına getirilen kısıtlamaların doğrudan etkileri ile bozulan arz-talep dengesi, on binlerce KOBİ üzerinde baskı oluşturmuş, iş akış süreçlerinde köklü değişimler meydana getirmiştir.

The Covid 19 pandemic continues to affect the whole world. Turkey is one of the countries adversely affected by the pandemic. The effects of the pandemic in Turkey started to reflect as of March 2020, this reflection deepened as of April and affected the whole economy. The supply-demand balance, which was disrupted by the direct effects of the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of the epidemic, put pressure on tens of thousands of SMEs and brought about radical changes in the workflow processes. SMEs in Batman province in the Southeastern Anatolia Region were adversely affected by this process. In this article, a survey was conducted with 42 SME managers operating in the province of Batman and it was tried to understand how they were affected by the pandemic. According to the data obtained, it has become certain that the epidemic process has negative consequences on SMEs operating in Batman. It is important for financial markets that SMEs, which cover a large part of employment, can continue to operate at a healthy and sustainable level. On this basis, the continuation of the economic supports offered by the government is of great importance for the future of SMEs.
