KUVEYKIR ÖĞRETİSİNDE İSA MESİH ANLAYIŞI

Abstract

Kuveykırlar, Avrupa’da, reformun etkisiyle ortaya çıkan mistik bir gruptur. Protestanlık çatısı altında yer alan Kuveykırlar, XVII. yüzyılda George Fox tarafından kurulmuştur. Kuveykır öğretisinde genel Hıristiyanlık anlayışında olduğu üzere, İsa’nın âlemin yaratılışı esnasında yaratılış işlemine katılması yönüyle logos oluşuna ve Mesih olması yönüyle çarmıh olayıyla birlikte tüm insanlığın kurtarıcısı oluşuna inanılmıştır. Dolayısıyla Kuveykırlar, İsa’nın hem beşeri hem de tanrısal yönünü kabul etmişlerdir. Bununla birlikte Kuveykır öğretisi daha çok İsa Mesih’in ruhsal rehberliğini merkeze alan bir hareket olmuştur. Kuveykır öğretisinde iç ışık doktrini esas kabul edilmiştir. Fox, Mesih’in kurtarıcılığına imanla birlikte bireyin içinde parlayacak olan Mesih ışığıyla kişinin ruhsal aydınlanmaya ulaşabileceğini ifade etmiştir. Fox, Tanrı’nın tüm insanların kurtuluşunu murat edeceği, gerçeğin tek olmasının gerekliliği, İsa’nın Mesih oluşu ve tanrısallığı gibi düşüncelerin yanı sıra diğer tüm inanç sistemlerindeki kurtarıcı figürlerin de tanrısal öze sahip olabileceği gibi bir fikre de sahip olması yönüyle öğretisini, İsa merkezli olarak ve tüm insanlara hitap edecek şekilde sistemleştirmiştir. Zira Fox’a göre, diğer dini sistemlere ait kurtarıcılar da ikinci derecede kurtarıcı olarak kabul edilmiştir. Böylece iç ışık doktrini ile birlikte evrensellik doktrini de Kuveykır öğretisinin temel doktrini olmuştur. Bununla birlikte başlangıçta kendilerini tek kurtuluş yolu şeklinde gören Kuveykırlar, tarihsel süreç içerisinde bu düşünceden uzaklaşarak evrensellik fikrini benimsemişlerdir. Bu makalede konu olarak Kuveykırlar’da İsa Mesih anlayışının seçilmesinin sebebi; Sami Kılıç’ın, Kuveykırları genel olarak tanıtan, Kuveykırlar adlı makalesinden başka, bu grup hakkında yazılan Türkçe bir çalışmanın bulunmayışı olmuştur. Dinler Tarihi kaynaklarında da, Kuveykırlar hakkında ansiklopedik bilgiler yer almış, inanç esasları ayrıntılı bir araştırmaya tabi tutulmamıştır. Çalışmada Kuveykırlar ile ilgili yabancı dildeki kaynaklar taranmış, özellikle bu grubun İsa-Mesih anlayışı ile ilgili bilgiler toplanmıştır. Kuveykır olarak bilinen yazarların da eserleri incelenmiştir. Günümüzdeki Kuveykırların internet siteleri ve buralarda yer alan bilgiler de toplanarak ortaya çıktıkları andan itibaren günümüze kadar olan süreçte Kuveykırların İsa-Mesih anlayışı ortaya konulmuştur.

The Conception of Jesus Christ in the Quaker teaching

Abstract

Quakers are a mystical group that emerged in Europe under the influence of reform. The Quakers, under the umbrella of Protestantism, were founded by George Fox in the seventeenth century. In the Quaker doctrine, as in the general Christian understanding, it is believed that Jesus was logos in terms of his participation in the creation process during the creation of the world, and that he was the savior of all humanity with the crucifixion event in terms of being the Messiah. Therefore, the Quakers accepted both the human and divine aspects of Jesus. However, the Quaker doctrine has been a movement centered on the spiritual guidance of Jesus Christ. In the Quaker doctrine, the doctrine of inner light has been accepted. Fox stated that with faith in Christ’s redemption, one can reach spiritual enlightenment with the light of Christ, which will shine within the individual. Fox, in addition to thoughts such as God’s will for the salvation of all people, the necessity of the truth to be one, Jesus’ being the Messiah and his divinity, as well as the idea that the savior figures in all other belief systems can have divine essence, he teaches his teaching as Jesus-centered and systematized in a way that appeals to all people. Because, according to Fox, saviors belonging to other religious systems were also accepted as secondary saviors. Thus, together with the doctrine of inner light, the doctrine of universality became the basic doctrine of the Quaker doctrine. However, Quakers, who initially saw themselves as the only way of salvation, moved away from this thought in the historical process and adopted the idea of universality. The reason for choosing the understanding of Jesus Christ in the Quakers as the subject of this article; Apart from Sami Kılıç's article named Quakers, which introduces the Quakers in general, there is no Turkish study written about this group. In the History of Religions sources, encyclopedic information about the Quakers was included, and the principles of belief were not subjected to a detailed study. In the study, foreign language sources about the Quakers were scanned, and information about the Jesus-Christ understanding of this group was collected. The works of writers known as Quakers were also examined. The Internet sites of today's Quakers and the information contained therein have also been collected and the understanding of the Jesus-Messiah of the Quakers has been revealed in the process from the moment they emerged to the present day.
