ÖRGÜTSEL KONFİGÜRASYON YAKLAŞIMININ STRATEJİK VE YAPISAL OLARAK İNCELENMESİ ÜZERİNE GELİŞTİRİLEN ÖNERMELER

Abstract

Çalışma, örgütsel
konfigürasyon yaklaşımı bağlamında örgütlerin strateji ve yapı bileşenleri
arasında uygun konfigürasyon seçiminin belirlenmesine bağlı olarak çeşitli
önermeler geliştirebilmek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Konu hakkında yapılan
literatür incelenmesi sonucunda; strateji ve yapı arasındaki ilişkinin daha
kapsamlı olarak ele alınmasının gerektiği tespit edilmiştir. Bu kapsamda çok
sayıda farklı değişken arasında bir ilişki aramak yerine; strateji ve yapı
arasındaki etkileşimi incelemek ve uygun konfigürasyonların seçilmesiyle
kararlı yapıların elde edilebileceğini göstermek için bir girişimde
bulunulmuştur. Bu bağlamda, çeşitli strateji ve yapı konfigürasyonları arasında
bir sentez yapılarak; ortak konfigürasyonları tanımlamak ve aralarındaki
etkileşimleri incelenmeye çalışmak bu çalışmanın amacına işaret etmektedir. Bu
amacı gerçekleştirebilmek ve “strateji ile yapı bileşenleri arasındaki
ilişkilere ve tercihlere bağlı olarak uygun ortak bir konfigürasyon seçimi
mümkün müdür?” mevcut sorunsalını çözümleyebilmek noktasında çalışmanın
çıktısını, alan yazına bağlı olarak kuramsal çerçevede geliştirilen önermeler
oluşturmaktadır. Bu tür ilişkilerin ortaya çıkarılmasının, ilgili yazına farklı
bakış açıları getireceğine inanılmaktadır. Ayrıca, çalışma, kuramsal ve
bilimsel gerçekçilik temelinde, gözlenmesi zor olan olgular arasında
geliştirilen önermeler ile desteklenmeye yöneliktir.

PROPOSITIONS DEVELOPED ON A STRATEGICAL AND STRUCTURAL INVESTIGATION OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL CONFIGURATION APPROACH

Abstract

The study has
been conducted to develop various propositions depending on the determination
of the appropriate configuration choice between the strategy and structure
components of organizations within the context of the organizational
configuration approach.
As a result of the literature review made regarding the topic; it has
been determined that the relationship between strategy and structure should be
considered more comprehensively. In this context, an attempt has been made to
examine the interaction between strategy and structure and to show that stable
structures can be obtained by selecting appropriate configurations, rather than
searching for a relationship between several different variables. In this
context, by making a synthesis between various strategy and structure
configurations; defining common configurations and trying to examine the
interactions between them indicate the aim of this study. In order to realize
this aim and to be able to analyze the current problem "Is it possible to
choose a suitable common configuration depending on the relationships and
preferences between the strategy and the building components?", the output
of the study constitutes propositions developed according to the literature. It
is believed that revealing such relationships will bring different perspectives
to the related literature. Also, the study is aimed to be supported by the
propositions developed among the cases difficult to observe on the basis of
theoretical and scientific realism.
