Year 2018, 17. UIK Special Issue, 333 - 346, 04.07.2018

Abstract

Living
a happy and peaceful life is a situation desired by everyone. Individuals face
many problems both in their private and professional lives. Especially in the
event that the person fails to solve the problems he/she encounters at the
workplace, it is possible that his/her work engagement diminishes, he/she wants
to turn over or seek another job that would psychologically feel better. The
aim of this studyis to test the mediating role of work engagement in the impact
of psychological well-being on turnover intention. The sample of this study
consists of 263 employees who work in the media, communication and publishing
and culture, art and design sectors and also volunteered for participating in
the study.
In order to test the research model, Structural Equation Model and
path analysis has been used
. According to the result of the
research, psychological well-being has a negative effect on the turnover
intention and there is a partial mediating effect of work engagement on the
effect of psychological well-being on turnover intention.

Abstract

Her
