ZİHİNSEL ENGELLİ ÇOCUKLARIN BÜYÜK KAS MOTOR BECERİLERİNİN DESTEKLENMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışma, fiziksel eğitim programlarının okulöncesi dönemdeki zihinselengelli çocukların büyük kas motor becerileri üzerindeki etkisininaraştırılması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya 7’si kız 5 erkek olmak üzere3-6 yaşlar arasındaki 12 zihinsel engelli çocuk katılmıştır. Öntest-eğitimsontest tasarımında düzenlenen çalışmada çocuklara yürüme, koşma,sıçrama gibi farklı beceri alanlarında eğitim verilmiştir. Çalışma sonucundaöntest ve sontest sonuçları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilmiş ve buçocuklarda fiziksel eğitimin büyük kas motor becerileri desteklediğisonucuna varılmıştır

Abstract

This study is performed to see the effects of physical training on the grossmotor skills of the children with mental retardation. This study performed on7 girls and 5 boys with mental retardation between the ages of 3-6 years.The study is performed in a pretest-training-postet design. The samplechildren were given a training program including walking, running, jumpingetc. skills. As a result it was seen that there were a significant differencesbetween pretest and posttest results. It was concluded that physical trainingsupports gross motor development of mentally handicapped children
