YÜKSEKÖĞRETİMDE MİKRO-KREDİLER ÜZERİNE KAVRAMSAL BİR DEĞERLENDİRME

Abstract

Teknolojik gelişmelerle hızla değişim yaşayan bilgi ekolojisi ve öğrenme süreçleri toplumun ihtiyaçlarına ve beklentilerine cevap verebilecek yenilikleri benimsemektedir. Bu yeniliklerden biri olan mikro-krediler (micro-credentials) yüksek öğretim süresince ve sonrası çalışma hayatı için dönüştürücü bir potansiyel olan bir yenilik olarak kabul edilmektedir. Beceri, yetkinlik ve uzmanlık kazanma bağlamında öğrenenlere kısa zamanda, esnek ve daha erişilebilir olanaklar sunan mikro-krediler geleneksel öğretim dereceleri ve sertifika programlarından farklı olarak yüksek öğretimin geleneksel öğrenme olanaklarını sorgulanmasına, gözden geçirilmesine ve yeniden incelenmesine neden olmuştur. Bu araştırmanın amacı güçlü ve dönüştürücü bir potansiyele sahip olan mikro-kredilerin STEEP Modeli çerçevesinde farklı boyutlardan incelenmesi ve etkilerinin araştırılmasıdır. Bu model temelinde mikro-krediler sosyal, teknolojik, ekonomik, ekolojik ve politik yönlerden incelenmiştir.
