Cities may have to relocate due to the natural and human factors they face. Turkey has fallen under the influence of continuous earthquakes since ancient times. Therefore, some settlements have been demolished due to earthquakes and some have been relocated. Some places have even been destroyed. For this reason, the settlements that were destroyed by the earthquake left their places and re-established elsewhere. This change has resulted in the differentiation of cities both in spatial and demographic structure. There are many earthquakes in our country, but some of them affect the displacement of settlements. In this study, the effects of earthquakes occurring on M> 6 in our country from 1927 to the present day on the settlement and population are examined. In this process, the settlements of Erzincan, Erbaa and Gediz were used as samples.
