Gastronomik Estetiğin Yeni Dili: Tabak Tasarımında ChatGPT'nin Pratik Bir Uygulaması

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, tabak tasarım sürecinde sosların estetik kullanımı için yaratıcı bir yapay zeka aracı olan ChatGPT’yi kullanarak görsel rehber hazırlamak ve uygulanabilirliğini ortaya koymaktır. Aynı zamanda görselliğin yemek deneyimini önemli ölçüde etkilediği gerçeğinden hareketle, tasarım unsurlarının sistematik bir şekilde kullanımı üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışma, nokta, çizgi, şekil, doku, renk, form, ton/ışık/gölge ve alan gibi temel tasarım öğelerini inceleyerek, sosların tabak tasarımında nasıl yaratıcı bir biçimde uygulanabileceğini analiz etmektedir. Bu süreçte, yapay zeka destekli bir yaklaşım benimsenmiş ve ChatGPT’nin sunduğu öneriler değerlendirilerek görsel bir rehber oluşturulmuştur. Yapay zekanın yaratıcı karar alma süreçlerine nasıl katkı sağlayabileceği, tasarım öğelerinin çeşitliliğini artırma ve uygulanabilirlik açısından uzman değerlendirmeleriyle incelenmiştir. Bulgular, ChatGPT’nin sunduğu tasarım önerilerinin gastronomik sunumlarda inovatif kullanım alanları oluşturduğunu göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak, çalışma hem teorik hem de pratik anlamda gastronomi ve mutfak sanatları alanında yenilikçi bir perspektif sunmaktadır. Gastronomi eğitiminde yaratıcı düşünmeyi teşvik edici bir kaynak olarak da değerlendirilebilir. Bu bağlamda, yapay zekanın mutfak sanatlarıyla etkileşimi yeni araştırmalara zemin hazırlayabilir niteliktedir.

The New Language of Gastronomic Aesthetics: A Practical Application of ChatGPT in Plate Design

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prepare a visual guide for the aesthetic use of sauces in plate design by utilizing ChatGPT as a creative artificial intelligence tool and to demonstrate its applicability. Based on the fact that visual appeal significantly impacts the dining experience, the study emphasizes the systematic use of design elements. It examines fundamental design components such as points, lines, shapes, texture, color, form, tone/light/shadow, and space, analyzing how sauces can be creatively applied in plate design. In this process, an AI-assisted approach has been adopted, and ChatGPT's recommendations have been evaluated to create a visual guide. The study also investigates how artificial intelligence contributes to creative decision-making, enhances the diversity of design elements, and evaluates its feasibility through expert assessments. The findings indicate that ChatGPT’s design recommendations provide innovative applications for gastronomic presentations. Ultimately, this study offers a novel perspective in both theoretical and practical aspects of gastronomy and culinary arts. It can also be considered as a resource that encourages creative thinking in gastronomy education. In this context, the interaction of artificial intelligence with culinary arts can pave the way for new research.
