Farklı Doz Ellajik Asitin Rat Serum Lipit Profili ve Total Antioksidan Üzerine Etkisi
Abstract
Bu çalışma, ellajik asitin, lipit, lipoprotein ve total antioksidan kapasite üzerine optimum etkiyi hangi dozda gösterdiğini tespit etmek amacıyla planlandı. Bu amaçla 40 adet, 200-250 gr ağırlığında erkek rat (Wistar- albino) kullanıldı. Kontrol, 1. grup (EA 3 mg/kg), 2. grup (EA 10 mg/kg), 3. grup (EA 12 mg/kg) ve 4. grup (EA 20 mg/kg) olmak üzere her biri 8 rattan oluşan 5 grup oluşturuldu. Sekiz hafta boyunca, gün aşırı olarak ellajik asitin (EA) oral olarak uygulanmasını takiben, alınan kan örneklerinde, trigliserit, kolesterol, HDL ve LDL ölçümleri ticari kit kullanılarak modüler oto-anlizör cihazında yapıldı. VLDL düzeyleri formülle hesaplandı. TAS ölçümü ticari kit kullanılarak spektrofotometrede gerçekleştirildi. Kontrol grubu ile karşılaştırıldığında, EA verilen tüm gruplarda, TAS, HDL, VLDL ve trigliserit seviyelerinin artarken, LDL ve kolesterol seviyelerinin azaldığı tespit edildi. Bu değişiklikler istatistik olarak anlamlı değildi (p˃0.05). Sonuç olarak, bu çalışmada elde edilen verilere dayanarak, yapılacak çalışmalarda, ellajik asitin koruyucu dozunun 20 mg/kg/gün düzeyinden yüksek olması ve uzun süre kullanılması önerilir
