Listeria monocytogenes soylarının genetik ve virülens farklılıkları

Year 2018, Volume: 89 Issue: 1, 97 - 107, 15.01.2018

Abstract

 Listeria
monocytogenes
insanlarda ve
hayvanlarda septisemi, menenjit, meningoensefalit, düşük gibi ciddi invazif
hastalıklara neden olabilen gıda kaynaklı bir patojendir. Epidemiyolojik araştırmalarda,
gıda işletmelerinden kontaminasyon kaynağının takibinde ve farklı türler arasındaki
ilişkinin evriminin belirlenmesinde L. monocytogenes türlerinin alt
tiplendirmesi çok önemlidir. Bu derlemede L. monocytogenes’in soyları
ile soyları arasındaki genetik ve virülens farklılıklarından bahsedilmiştir.

Genetic and virulence differences of Listeria monocytogenes strains

Year 2018, Volume: 89 Issue: 1, 97 - 107, 15.01.2018

Abstract

 Listeria
monocytogenes
is a foodborne pathogen
capable of causing serious invasive disease, including abortion, septicemia,
meningitis, and meningoencephalitis in humans and animals. Subtyping of L.
monocytogenes
strains can prove to be crucial in epidemiological
investigations, source tracking contamination from food processing plants and
determining evolutionary relationships between different strains. In this paper
L. monocytogenes strains and genetic and virulence differences among L.
monocytogenes
strains are reviewed.
