Various methods are being developed in order to prevent the use of tobacco and tobacco products which are increasing in the world and threatening the health of both addicts and passive smokers. These methods may include the prohibition of smoking in confined spaces, changing the packaging colours, restricting advertising and promotion, preventing the sale of goods to those who are under the age of 18, and increasing the sale price of tobacco and tobacco products. However, these methods also lead consumers who are seeking ways to escape against bans to investigate alternatives. One of these alternatives is vaping that is becoming more and more widespread all around the world. However, in a bulletin issued by the relevant ministries of most development countries and the World Health Organization (WHO), it is announced that vaping is more harmful for human health than known. It is thought that the preference of vape relies not only on the elimination of the prohibitions and on the avoidance of price increases; but also, on the alleviation of the health effects of smoking and even on smoking cessation. For this purpose, the study makes a popularity analysis through Google Trends between the factors such as healthy lifestyle, intention to quit smoking, price increases which are thought to affect the use of vape and interest of vaping.
