In the study, the issue of emotional labour, which is of great importance in terms of national and international literature recently, is studied. The aim of the study is to examine the effects of job control, supervisory support, colleague support, rewarding and positive display rule variables on emotional labour. The sample of the study is composed of 300 employees in the Metropolitan Municipality, Onikişubat Municipality and Dulkadiroğlu Municipality in Kahramanmaraş province centre. The questionnaire method is used for data collection. The data obtained is tested by frequency, correlation and regression analysis in the SPSS packet program. As a result of the research it is determined that on-the-job control, executive support, co-worker support and positive behaviour rule do not affect superficial behaviour. However, it is found that rewarding of conduct has a positive effect on superficial behaviour. On the other hand, it is seen that on-the-job control, executive support, co-worker support conduct do not affect in-depth behaviour. However, it is determined that the rewarding and positive behaviour rule affected in-depth behaviour positively. It is expected that the results would reveal the importance of emotional labour in terms of employees and businesses and contribute to the development of the literature.
