Abstract

Stoneware glazes are the ones that mature between 1200°C and 1350°C, that are hard, durable, non-porous, strong, resistant to acids and crazing, hygienic, opaque and semi-opaque. The most important feature of these glazes is their lead-free chemical compositons. The characteristic feature of stoneware-glazes and the depth-effect on the surface of glaze has the feature which cannot be obtained with low-fired glazes. Therefore, many ceramic artists prefer these type of glazes. In this study, the researches of stoneware-glaze applied on stoneware bodies and improved with colorant oxides at difeerent ratios are evaluated with the aim of examining the various effects of colour and surface

Renk Veren Oksitlerle Geliştirilen ‘Stoneware’ Sır Araştırmaları
