Çağdaş Sanatta Bir İfade Alanı Olarak Şiir

Abstract

İnsanlık tarihinin dil ile ilişkisi hem işitsel hem de yazılı kültüre dair bir olgudur. Bu bakımdan kültür ve sanata dair dil başlı başına disiplinlerarası bir olgudur. Günümüzde sanatın disiplinlerarasılığından söz ediyorsak, bunu Walter Benjamin’in Teknik Olanaklarıyla Üretilebildiği Çağda Sanat Yapıtı adlı ünlü makalesine, DADA hareketine ve 60’lı yıllarda kavramsal sanatın ortaya çıkışına borçluyuz. Bu üç vaka sayesinde sanat üretimi olanakları açısından yapılırken, özellikle plastik sanatlar alanındaki sanat nesnesinin tekliği, biricikliği, tek nüsha oluşu gibi tartışmalar bir nevi saldırıya uğramıştı. 1910’lu yıllarda DADA hareketinde gördüğümüz edebiyat-sanat yayın buluşması, ses, anlatı, dil üzerinden hem görsel hem işitsel hem de bedensel bir jestler bütünü olarak performanslara dönüşebilmişti. Kavramsal sanatın dil ve anlatı ile olan ilişkisi ise sanatçıların üretimlerinde yer bulan kavramların, tanımların sanatsal ifadeye ve sanat formuna dönüşmesine dayanmaktadır. Bu sayede resim, fotoğraf, yazı birlikteliği kitap formu haricinde yeni bir zeminde sergi mekânında yer bulmuştur. Fluxus hareketi dilin görselliğine ilişkin birimler olan harfler, kelimeler cümleleri DADA hareketinden yıllar sonra bir oyun alanı olarak tekrar gündeme getirmiş ve izleyiciyi katılımcıya dönüştürmeyi hedeflemiştir. Bu metin kapsamında şiirsel dil, şiirin mekaniği, şiirin görsel dilinin güncel sanat tarafından ödünç alınması, yorumlanması gibi bağlamlar eşliğinde güncel sanat ve şiirin genişleyen alanı tartışmalarına bakılacaktır.

Poetry as a Field of Expression in Contemporary Art

Abstract

The relationship of human history with language is a phenomenon related to both auditory and written culture. In this respect, the language of culture and art is an interdisciplinary phenomenon in itself. If we are talking about the interdisciplinarity of art today, we owe it to Walter Benjamin's famous article The Artwork in the Age of Technical Production, the DADA movement and the emergence of conceptual art in the 60s. While art was produced in terms of production possibilities thanks to these three cases, discussions such as the uniqueness, uniqueness, and single copy of the art object, especially in the field of plastic arts, were somewhat attacked. The literary-art publication meeting we saw in the DADA movement in the 1910s could turn into performances as a set of both visual, auditory and bodily gestures over sound, narrative and language. The relationship of conceptual art with language and narrative is based on the transformation of concepts and definitions into artistic expression and art form in the productions of artists. In this way, the combination of painting, photography and writing found a place in the exhibition space on a new grounds, apart from the book form. Years after the DADA movement, the Fluxus movement brought letters, words and sentences, which are units of visual language, back to the agenda as a playground and aimed to turn the audience into a participant.Within the scope of this text, discussions of contemporary art and the expanding field of poetry will be examined, accompanied by contexts such as poetic language, the mechanics of poetry, borrowing and interpretation of the visual language of poetry by contemporary art.
