ÇAĞDAŞ DÖNEM KEMAN REPERTUVARINA DAİR GÖZLEMLER

Öz

ÖZ Keman, tarih boyunca değişen müzikal beğenilere ve akımlara olağanüstü bir esneklikle yanıt verebilmiş en uyumlu çalgılardan biridir. Yirminci yüzyılın ortalarından itibaren şekillenen çağdaş repertuvar, kemanın teknik sınırlarını önemli ölçüde genişletmiş ve icracılardan alışılmışın dışında performanslar talep etmeye başlamıştır. Bu repertuvar, geleneksel ton merkezli anlayıştan uzaklaşarak yeni ve genişletilmiş tekniklerin kullanımıyla geleneksel klasik keman ekolü repertuvarı kuralları dışında farklı ifade biçimlerine yönelmiştir. Döneme ait eserlerin biçimsel düzeni, notasyon kullanımındaki çeşitlilik, sesin özüne ve tınıya yönelen yapılarıyla bu repertuvarı hem icracılar hem de araştırmacılar için merak uyandıran ve incelenmeyi gerektiren bir alan haline getirmiştir. Bu çalışmada, çağdaş repertuvarın sunduğu özgünlükler ve teknik yenilikler üzerine örnekler verilerek, icracılar için çağdaş dönemde keman repertuvarı üzerine bir temel sağlanması ve repertuvarın farklılıklarına dair gözlemlerin yapılması hedeflemektedir. Çalışma aynı zamanda, çağdaş eserleri yorumlamak isteyen keman sanatçıları için yol gösterici bir gözlem alanı sunmayı amaçlamıştır.

SOME OBSERVATIONS THE CONTEMPORARY VIOLIN REPERTOIRE

Abstract

The violin is one of the most adaptable instruments that has responded with extraordinary flexibility to changing musical tastes and trends throughout history. The contemporary repertoire that has taken shape since the mid-twentieth century has significantly expanded the technical limits of the violin and has begun to demand unconventional performances from performers. This repertoire has moved away from the traditional tone-centred approach and, through the use of new and expanded techniques, has moved towards different forms of expression outside the rules of the traditional classical violin school repertoire. The formal arrangement of the works of the period, the diversity in the use of notation, and the structures orientated towards the essence of sound and timbre have made this repertoire a field that arouses curiosity and requires study for both performers and researchers. In this study, it is aimed to provide a basis for performers on the violin repertoire in the contemporary period and to make observations on the differences of the repertoire by giving examples of the originalities and technical innovations offered by the contemporary repertoire. The study also aims to provide a guiding observation area for violinists who wish to interpret contemporary works.
