VİVALDİ OP. 3 NO. 8, RV 522 VE BACH BWV 1043 İKİLİ KEMAN KONÇERTOLARININ BİRİNCİ BÖLÜMLERİNİN YORUMCULAR AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ VE ÇALIŞMA ÖNERİLERİ

Öz

Müzik tarihi boyunca değişen performans pratiklerine rağmen, müzisyenlerin birlikte çalma arzusu evrensel bir olgu olarak varlığını korumuştur. Bu bağlamda keman, hem solo hem de oda müziği icralarında Barok dönemden günümüze kadar merkezi bir rol oynamıştır. Bu çalışma, Johann Sebastian Bach’ın Re Minör İkili Keman Konçertosu (BWV 1043) ve Antonio Vivaldi’nin La Minör İki Keman için Konçertosu (RV 522) üzerine odaklanarak, bu önemli eserlerin teknik ve müzikal analizini sunmayı hedeflemektedir. Araştırmada, bu iki başyapıtın form özellikleri, dönem performans pratikleri ve icra teknikleri detaylı şekilde incelenmiştir. Özellikle solistler arasındaki müzikal diyalog, orkestra ile uyum ve dönemin stilistik özelliklerinin günümüz icralarına nasıl aktarılabileceği üzerinde durulmuştur. Eserlerin teknik zorluklarına yönelik çözüm önerileri geliştirilerek, icracılar için pratik bir rehber sunulması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın bulguları, Barok Dönem ikili keman konçertolarının icrasında karşılaşılan ortak problemlere ışık tutmaktadır. Öneriler hem tarihsel bilinçli performans anlayışını hem de modern çalım tekniklerini dikkate alarak geliştirilmiştir. Bu bağlamda, eserlerin orijinal karakterlerinin korunması ile günümüz dinleyicisine hitap etmesi arasındaki denge üzerine önemli tespitler sunulmuştur. Bu araştırmanın, keman eğitimcileri ve icracıları için önemli bir kaynak oluşturması ve Barok Dönem ikili konçerto geleneğinin daha iyi anlaşılmasına katkı sağlaması beklenmektedir. Çalışmada sunulan analizler ve performans önerileri, bu türün gelecek nesillere aktarımında rehber niteliği taşıyacak bilgiler içermektedir.

AN ANALYSIS OF THE FIRST MOVEMENTS OF VIVALDI OP. 3 NO. 8, RV 522 AND BACH BWV 1043 DOUBLE VIOLIN CONCERTOS FROM THE PERFORMERS' PERSPECTIVE AND SUGGESTIONS FOR PRACTICE

Abstract

Despite changing performance practices throughout the history of music, the desire of musicians to play together has remained a universal phenomenon. In this context, the violin has played a central role in both solo and chamber music performances from the Baroque period to the present day. This study aims to provide a technical and musical analysis of these important works, focusing on Johann Sebastian Bach's Double Violin Concerto in D minor (BWV 1043) and Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Violins in A minor (RV 522). In this study, the formal characteristics, period performance pratices and performance techniques of these two masterpieces were analyzed in detail. Particular emphasis was placed on the musical dialogue between soloists, harmony with the orchestra, and how the stylistic characteristics of the period could be transferred to contemporary performances. It is aimed to provide a practical guide for performers by developing solutions for the technical difficulties of the works. The findings of the study shed light on common problems encountered in the performance of Baroque-period double violin concertos. Suggestions have been developed taking into account both the historically conscious performance approach and modern playing techniques. In this context, important findings are presented regarding the balance between preserving the original character of the works and appealing to today's audience. This study is expected to serve as an important resource for violin educators and performers and to contribute to a better understanding of the Baroque double concerto tradition. The analyses and performance suggestions presented in the study contain information that will serve as a guide for the transmission of this genre to future generations.
