Aim and Scope

Yozgat Bozok University Journal of Faculty of Education is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original, high-quality studies contributing to the theoretical, practical, and interdisciplinary development of educational sciences. The journal aims to contribute to national and international academic literature by publishing original research based on scientific methods.

The scope of the journal covers all subfields of educational sciences, including but not limited to curriculum and instruction, educational measurement and evaluation, educational administration, guidance and psychological counseling, special education, primary education, preschool education, subject-specific education, teacher education, educational technologies, and lifelong learning. Interdisciplinary studies that provide theoretical, conceptual, or methodological contributions to the field of education are also considered for publication.

The journal publishes the following types of scholarly work:

Original quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method research articles,
Theoretical and conceptual studies,
Methodological studies,
Practice-oriented research,
Review and evaluation articles addressing current issues in education from a scientific perspective.

Submitted manuscripts are expected to be original, to make a theoretical and/or practical contribution to the field, and to comply with the principles of research and publication ethics.

Publication Policy

Yozgat Bozok University Journal of Faculty of Education adopts quality, transparency, and academic integrity as its fundamental principles in scholarly publishing. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial evaluation and are then assessed through a double-blind peer review process. Throughout the editorial process, the principles of impartiality, confidentiality, ethical responsibility, and academic merit are strictly observed.

The journal adheres to nationally and internationally recognized principles of research and publication ethics. Standards concerning academic integrity, research ethics, the prevention of conflicts of interest, data reliability, and the protection of intellectual property rights are applied throughout the publication process.

The scientific, ethical, and legal responsibility for the opinions expressed and the findings presented in published articles rests solely with the author(s).

Publication Language

The journal publishes manuscripts in Turkish and English.

Manuscripts submitted in Turkish must include an English title, abstract, and keywords.
Manuscripts submitted in English must include a Turkish title, abstract, and keywords.

Publication Frequency

Yozgat Bozok University Journal of Faculty of Education is published twice a year, in June and December.

Submission Requirements

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must:

·      Be original and unpublished,

·      Be submitted exclusively to this journal during the review process,

·      Comply with the principles of research and publication ethics.

At the time of submission, authors are required to upload:

·      A completed and signed Copyright Transfer Form,

·      A plagiarism/similarity report prepared in accordance with the similarity threshold specified by the journal.

The mission of the journal is to publish original research conducted in various disciplines of educational sciences in accordance with the principles of research and publication ethics, to promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge among researchers, to contribute to the improvement of educational practices, and to support the advancement of scientific knowledge in education at both national and international levels.
