Abstract

İklim değişikliği ile mücadelede önemli bir girişim olan Kyoto Protokolü, ABD tarafından henüz onaylanmamıştır. Ancak birçok eyalet ve kent yönetimi federal hükümetin aksine sera gazı emisyonlarını azaltmak amacıyla birtakım politikaları uygulamaya karar vermişlerdir. Bu çalışmada Seattle Belediye Başkanı Greg Nickels’ın başlattığı Seattle İklim Eylem Planı ve ilgili girişimler incelenmiştir
