Modern Turkish Literature Researches aims to contribute to Turkish literature by publishing studies on Modern Turkish Literature, covering the recent period of Turkish literature.
The scope of the Journal of Modern Turkish Literature Researches is defined as follows:
1. The Journal of Modern Turkish Literature Researches is a peer-reviewed journal published semi-annually.
2. Submitted articles must not have been published anywhere else, including online.
3. The scientific and legal responsibility for articles published in our journal rests with the authors.
4. Our journal publishes original and translated articles, critiques, book reviews, bibliographies, etc., related to its field, as well as articles, essays, interviews, poems, and various noteworthy documents by poets and writers of importance to our literary history that are not included in their books.
5. Articles related to other social sciences directly relevant to New Turkish Literature are also considered for publication.
6. While possessing an academic identity, works by non-academic authors and researchers that receive a positive report from the peer-review board may also be published in The Journal of New Turkish Literature Studies.
7. Authors submitting their work to our journal must state their full name, academic title, and institution, along with their address, telephone number, and email address where we can contact them directly.
8. Submitted works must include an abstract and keywords in both Turkish and English. The abstract should be comprehensive and not exceed 150 words.
9. Each article must include an "extended summary" of 700-1000 words at the end, covering the entire article.
10. Criticisms with a strong subjective focus will be rejected without being sent to the peer review board.
11. Papers presented at academic conferences are accepted, provided that necessary explanations are given and the paper has not been previously published in conference proceedings.
12. The editorial and publishing board may partially revise submitted articles, primarily to ensure grammatical consistency in the journal. If significant revisions are necessary, the author will be informed accordingly.
13. Articles deemed suitable by the editorial board are sent to two reviewers. Articles receiving positive reports from both reviewers are included in the publications. If one positive and one negative report are received, the article is sent to a third reviewer. The final decision is made based on the third reviewer's report.
14. The works to be published in each issue are determined according to the date the journal and the overall subject distribution of the journal receive them.
15. Articles that receive a revision report are sent to the authors along with the report. Articles resent without considering the reviewer's report will not be considered.
16. Book reviews are not sent to the peer review board. The editorial board evaluates these types of articles.
