Abstract
Doç. Dr. Mustafa Özcan’›n kaleme ald›¤› Bilgi Ça- ¤›nda Ö¤retmen: E¤itimi, Nitelikleri ve Gücü - Bir Reform Önerisi kitab›, Türk E¤itim Derne¤i (TED) taraf›ndan 2011 tarihinde yay›nlanm›flt›r. Amerika Birleflik Devletleri (ABD) baflta olmak üzere dünyadaki baflar›l› ö¤retmen yetifltirme programlar›n› derinlemesine inceleyen bu çal›flma, bilgi ça¤› ve küreselleflme ça¤›n›n ihtiyaçlar› do¤rultusunda yeni bir ö¤retmen e¤itimi modeli önermektedir. Çal›flman›n hedefi, bilgi ça¤› toplumu olan Türkiye’de görev yapacak olan yüksek nitelikli ö¤retmeni tan›mlamak ve bu ö¤retmeni yetifltirecek e¤itim fakültesini tasarlamakt›r. Yöntem olarak, araflt›rma, kaynak taramas›na dayal› kuramsal bir çal›flma özelli¤ini tafl›maktad›r.
