Üniversite Öğrencilerinde Değerler Ve Mutluluk Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, üniversite öğrencilerinde değerler ile mutluluk arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma grubu, yaşları 19 ile 23 arasında değişen ve yaş ortalamaları 19.76 (ss=1.8) olan 226 üniversite öğrencilerinden oluşmuştur. Katılımcıların mutluluk düzeylerini ölçmek için “Öznel Mutluluk Ölçeği”, değer yönelimlerini ölçmek için “Schwartz Değerler Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarının belirlenmesinde tesadüfü örneklem yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, korelasyon ve çoklu regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Korelasyon sonuçlarına göre geleneksellik değeri dışındaki bütün değer yönelimleri mutlulukla anlamlı ilişki göstermektedir. Çoklu regresyon analizi sonuçları hazcılık, evrenselcilik ve iyilikseverlik değerlerinin mutluluğu yordamada en güçlü değer yönelimleri olduğunu göstermiştir. Sonuçlar değerler ve mutluluk ilişkisi ile ilgili önceki bulgular ışığında tartışılmıştır
