Farklı Fosfor Seviyelerinin Tef (Eragrostis tef (Zucc.) Trotter) Bitkisinde Tane Verimi ve Bazı Verim Özelliklerine Etkisi Üzerine Bir Ön Araştırma

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışma, farklı
fosfor seviyelerinin tef (Eragrostis tef (Zucc.)
Trotter) bitkisinde tane verimi ve bazı verim özellikleri üzerine etkilerini
saptamak amacıyla yürütülmüştür.



Materyal ve Yöntem: Araştırma, 2017 yılının
yaz yetişme döneminde, Ege Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü
Bornova deneme alanlarında dış ortam koşullarında saksı denemesi olarak
gerçekleştirilmiştir. Denemede, tef bitkisinin Dessie genotipi kullanılmış ve beş
farklı fosfor (0, 5, 10, 15, 20 kg P da-1) incelenmiştir. Çalışmada
bitki boyu, sap sayısı, tane verimi, hasat indeksi gibi özellikler ölçülmüştür.



Bulgular ve Sonuç: Fosfor seviyelerinin incelenen tüm özellikler
üzerinde önemli etkilerinin olduğunu saptanmıştır. Yüksek fosfor dozu
uygulamaları, kontrole göre tane verimini yükseltmiştir. Dekara 10 kg fosfor
uygulamasının, Akdeniz iklim koşullarındaki İzmir’de, tef bitkisi tane verimini
yükselten en iyi gübre seviyesi olduğunu ortaya koymuştur.

A Preliminary Study on the Effect of Different Phosphorus Levels on the Grain Yield and Some Yield Characteristics of Teff (Eragrostis tef (Zucc.) Trotter)

Abstract

Objective: This study was conducted to determine the effect of phosphorus levels on the grain yield and some yield parameters of teff grass (Eragrostis tef (Zucc.) Trotter).

Material and Methods: The experiment was carried out on the experimental area of Ege University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops, Izmir/Turkey, during the summer growth seasons of 2017 as a pot experiment grown under outdoor. In the experiment, Dessie genotype of teff grass was used as crop material and five levels of phosphorus (0, 50, 100, 150, 200 kg P2O5 ha-1) were tested. Some traits were evaluated in the experiment such as plant height, number of tiller, grain yield and harvest index.

Results and Conclusion: The effects of phosphorus treatments were significant on all characteristics tested in the experiment. Application of the higher rates of P treatments increased the grain yields compared to the control. Based on these results, 100 kg P2O5 ha-1 was proved the best fertilizer levels for teff grass grain yield under Mediterranean ecological conditions of Izmir.
