Objective:This study was conducted to determine lethal concentration of the mentioned active ingredient for four different Cotton Whitefly Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) populations to some insecticides in Söke, Aydın province in 2014.
Material and Methods:In this study, LC values of the most widely used active ingredient in Söke, pyriproxyfen and buprofezine for nymph stage and acetamiprid and bifenthrin for adult stage of the pest were calculated with using leaf dipping method.Furthermore, biochemical studies have also been conducted to relationship enzyme with toxicity value differences of mentioned active ingredient.
Results:The calculated LC50 values of four different whitefly populations were 37.51, 28.22, 52.12, 75,61 ppm for acetamiprid, 2.72, 4.39, 1.08, 1.89 ppm for bifenthrin, 30.95, 29.05, 46.46, 25.95 ppm for buprofezin and 38.85, 76.06, 108.91, 34.15 ppm for pyriproxyfen, respectively.
Conclusion:Also, the total esterase values for four different populations detected and it is detected that there was no significant difference in the levels of the enzyme.
