Villoglandular adenocarcinoma: Diagnostic dilemma

Abstract

Villoglandular papillary adenocarcinoma (VGPA) is a rarely described form of adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix which seems to have an excellent prognosis. We presented two VGPA cases in this study. We agreed to be performed differential diagnosis of VGPA cautiously because of its effects on clinical management.

Villoglandüler adenokarsinoma: Diagnostik ikilem

Abstract

Villoglandüler papiller adenokanser (VGPA) nispeten nadir görülen bir servikal adenokanser varyantı olup literatürde prognozunun çok iyi olduğu bildirilmektedir. Çalışmamızda iki VGPA olgusu sunulmuştur. Olgularımızdaki klinik karara olan etkisi gözönüne alındığında VGPA nın patolojik ayırıcı tanısının daha ayrıntılı yapılması gerektiği kanaatindeyiz.
