Diabetic ketoacidosis in pregnancy a case report

Abstract

Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) is a medical emergency with high maternal and fetal mortality. In cases of preterm labor administration of betamethasone and betamimetics may cause DKA. Here we reported the prompt diagnosis and theraphy in a case of DKA after betamethasone administration.

Abstract

Diabetik ketoasidoz (DKA)yüksek maternal ve fetal mortalitesi olan bir tıbbi acildir. Erken doğum eylemi olgularında betamethasone ve betamimetik tedaviler ketoasidoz gelişimine neden olabilir. Burada betamethasone kullanımı sonrası birDKA olgusunda acil tanı ve tedavi planı sunulmuştur.
