Abstract

Adneksiyel torsiyon rölatif olarak sık rastlanan bir olgu olsa da, tubarıın izole torsiyonu 1,5 milyonda bir insidansla oldukça nadir görülmektedir. Alt karın ağrısı, bulantı ve kusma şikayetleri ile başvuran hastalarda ön tanıda düşünülmeyen tubal torsiyon, tubanın nekrozuna yol açmakta ve fertiliteyi etkilemektedir. Erken dönemde konulacak tanı tubal hasarı önleyecek olan, tubal detorsiyon operasyonuna olanak sağlayacaktır. Bu nedenle, tubal torsiyon olasılığı alt karın ağrısı ile başvuran, özellikle genç hastalarda akılda bulundurulmalıdır. Bundan dolayı biz de hastanemize başvuran böyle bir olguyu sunmayı amaçladık.

Isolated tubal torsion: Case report

Abstract

Even if the torsion of the adnexia is a relatively common phenomenon, isolated torsion of the tube itself is seen very rarely with an incidence of 1 in 1.5 million. Tubal torsion which can not be predicted as a pre-diagnosis in patients who presents with lower abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, could result in the necrosis of the tube and may affect the fertility. An early diagnosis will give an opportunity to a tubal detorsion operation, which will prevent a subsequent damage of the tube. For this reason, tubal torsion should be kept in mind, especially in young patients who present with lower abdominal pain. As a consequence we aimed to report such a patient who applied to our hospital.
