Abstract
A tracheoesophageal fistula is an abnormal con- nection between the esophagus and the trachea and is a rarely seen pathology. The absence of the fetal stomach or visualization of the fetal stom- ach smaller than normal by ultrasound in early gestation, and detection of polyhydramnios in third trimester are the most valuable signs in ul- trasonographic examination. In addition to this, depending on the type of the anomaly, blind pouch sign of the esophagus can be detected at the medi- astinum or in the neck, next to trachea. The rate of diagnosis in the ultrasonographic examination during pregnancy is about %42 (4), and %58 of the patients diagnosed in postpartum period. Abstract
Trakeözofageal fistül özofagus ve trakea arasındaki anormal bir bağlantıdır, ve oldukça nadir görülen bir patolojidir. Erken gebelik haftalarında pre- natal ultrasonografide fetal midenin gözleneme- mesi veya normalden küçük gözlenmesi ve ileri gebelik haftalarında polihidramnios varlığı ultra- sonografik değerlendirmenin yegâne bulgularıdır. Ek olarak anomalinin tipine göre servikal veya mediastinal bölgede, trakea komşuluğunda özofa- gus kör ucunun poş belirtisini görmek mümkün olabilir. Gebelik dönemi ultrasonografi takibinde tanı koyma oranı yaklaşık olarak %42dir 4, %58 hastanın tanısı postpartum dönemde koyulur. Biz bu makalede nadir görülmesi nedeniyle, TÖF tanısı konulan bebek hastayı sunmayı amaçladık.
