Alternatif Finansman Aracı Olarak Türkiye'de Kitlesel Fonlama ve Ekonomik Büyüme: Başarı Kriterleri ve Öneriler

Öz

Kitle fonlamanın artan piyasa hacmi bu alanda yeni bilimsel çalışmaların gerekliliğini gözler önüne sermektedir. Literatürde yer alan mevcut çalışmalar incelendiğinde; Türkiye’nin kitle fonlamada geçmiş ve günümüzdeki durumunu ortaya koyularak mevcut durumun iyileştirilmesi için alınabilecek önlemler hakkında politika önerilerinin ağırlıklı olarak yer aldığı görülmektedir. Kitle fonlama ile desteklenen proje ve ürün kampanyaları başta istihdam üzerinde yaratacağı olumlu etki ile birlikte sermaye ve yeni yatırımların ülkeye gelmesi gibi yaratacağı pozitif etkiler ile ekonomik büyümeyi de destekleyeceği düşünülmektedir. Yapılan bu çalışmada Türkiye açısından kitle fonlama platformları için düzenlemelerin çok yeni olması ve aktif olarak faaliyette bulunan platformlarda kampanya sahibi ve kampanyayı finanse edecek yatırımcıların bilgi eksikliği ile kitle fonlama sürecinde belirsizlik altında oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak başarı oranlarının artırılabilmesi açısından gerekli hukuki ve teknolojik altyapının geliştirilmesi, kampanyalar hakkında fon sağlayanların eksiksiz bilgilendirilmesi ve girişimcilerin gerekli eğitimleri almasının gerekliliği gibi bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Crowdfunding as an Alternative Financing Mechanism in Turkey and Economic Growth: Success Factors and Recommendations Büşra ORTAARABACI

Öz

The increasing market size of crowdfunding highlights the necessity for new scientific studies in this field. Upon reviewing the existing literature, it is observed that the studies primarily focus on Turkey's past and current situation in crowdfunding, as well as proposing policy recommendations to improve the current state. Crowdfunding-supported project and product campaigns are believed to positively impact employment, attract capital and new investments to the country, thus supporting economic growth. However, this study identifies certain issues related to crowdfunding in Turkey. One key issue is that regulations for crowdfunding platforms are relatively new, and both campaign owners and investors participating in the campaigns on active platforms often lack sufficient information, leading to uncertainties during the crowdfunding process. As a result, to enhance the success rates of crowdfunding campaigns, the study suggests some recommendations. Firstly, it emphasizes the need to develop the necessary legal and technological infrastructure. Secondly, it highlights the importance of providing comprehensive information to funders about the campaigns they support. Lastly, the study proposes the necessity for entrepreneurs to receive adequate training to improve their understanding of crowdfunding processes and best practices. By implementing these suggestions, it is believed that the crowdfunding ecosystem in Turkey can be strengthened and fostered for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
