Bibliometric Review of the Garden-Based Learning Literature

Öz

This research examines the global trends and conceptual map of scientific studies in the field of garden-based learning using bibliometric analysis. Overall, the research findings indicate that while garden-based learning has a strong and indispensable foundation in the educational literature, it has not yet fully matured theoretically. This suggests that the subject needs to be more frequently linked to the context of nature and practical applications to gain a stronger position in the academic field. Globally, the literature appears to be growing through international cooperation blocs shaped by geographical and cultural proximity, led by certain central countries. In conclusion, the study reveals the overall structure of the garden-based learning literature, which is developing through dynamic global cooperation networks but needs greater integration with practical themes in terms of theoretical depth.

Bahçe Temelli Öğrenme Literatürünün Bibliyometrik İncelemesi

Öz

Bu araştırma, bahçe temelli öğrenme alanında yapılan bilimsel çalışmaların küresel eğilimlerini ve kavramsal haritasını bibliyometrik analiz yöntemiyle incelemektedir. Araştırma bulguları genel olarak değerlendirildiğinde, bahçe temelli öğrenmenin eğitim literatüründe köklü ve vazgeçilmez bir temel oluşturmasına rağmen, kuramsal olarak kendi başına henüz tam anlamıyla olgunlaşmadığı görülmektedir. Bu durum, konunun akademik alanda daha güçlü bir konuma gelmesi için doğa bağlamı ve pratik uygulamalarla daha sık ilişkilendirilmesi gerektiğine işaret etmektedir. Küresel ölçekte ise literatürün belirli merkez ülkelerin liderliğinde, coğrafi ve kültürel yakınlıklara göre şekillenen uluslararası iş birliği blokları üzerinden büyüdüğü anlaşılmaktadır Sonuç olarak çalışma, bahçe temelli öğrenme literatürünün dünya genelinde dinamik iş birliği ağlarıyla gelişen, ancak teorik derinlik açısından pratik temalarla daha fazla bütünleşmeye ihtiyaç duyan genel yapısını ortaya koymaktadır.
