Öz

Dil abseleri, dilde ani ve ağrılı bir şişliğe yol açan oldukça nadir görülen enfeksiyonlardır. Otuz iki yaşında bir erkek hastada, dilde unilateral şişlik ile karakterize dil absesi olgusu sunularak, literatür eşliğinde dil abselerinin, etyolojisi, tanı ve tedavisi tartışıldı.

Öz

Tongue abscesses are extremely rare infections leading to painfull, acute enlargement of tongue. We reported a case tongue abscess in a 32-year-old man presenting as a unilateral swelling of the tongue, and discussed the etiology, diagnosis and treatment of this entity, with the literature review.
