Sağlık personelinin istismar, ihmal ve aile içi şiddetle karşılaşma durum ve tutumları

Öz

AMAÇ: Tanımlayıcı nitelikteki bu araştırma; sağlık çalışanlarının istismar, ihmal ve aile içi şiddetle karşılaşma durum ve tutumlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. YÖNTEM: Çalışma bir ilin devlet hastanesinde Eylül 2016-Şubat 2017 tarihleri arasında görev yapan 439 sağlık personeli ulaşma oranı %83,1 ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sağlık personelinin tanımlayıcı bilgilerini, istismar, ihmal ve aile içi şiddetle ilgili karşılaşma durumlarını ve tutumlarını belirlemeye yönelik soruları içeren anket formu, bilgilendirilmiş onam alınarak yüz yüze görüşme yöntemiyle doldurulmuştur. Tanımlayıcı istatistik olarak nicel veriler ortalama, standart sapma ile; nitel veriler sayı ve yüzde ile sunulmuştur. İstatistiksel değerlendirmede nitel verilerin karşılaştırılmasında Ki-kare testi, nicel veri değişkenli karşılaştırmada bağımsız örneklerde T-Testi kullanılmış olup p

Abuse, neglect and domestic violence with encounter status and attitudes of health staff

Öz

OBJECTIVE: This descriptive study was conducted in order to evaluate the encounter and attitudes of health staff with abuse, neglect and domestic violence cases. METHODS: The study was carried out with 439 health personnel who work for Tokat State Hospital between September 2016 and February 2017 coverage rate 83.1% . The questionnaire, which consists of questions that aim to determine the health personnel’s descriptive information, circumstances of their encounter with abuse, neglect and domestic violence cases and their approach to such cases, was conducted through face-to-face meeting, subject to their informed consent. As descriptive statistics, quantitative data were presented as average and standard deviation and qualitative data were presented as numbers and percentages.
