Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin adli hemşirelik hakkındaki bilgi ve düşünceleri

Öz

AMAÇ: Bu çalışmada, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin adli hemşirelik hakkındaki bilgi ve düşüncelerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.YÖNTEM: Kesitsel tipteki bu araştırma, Nisan-Ekim 2019 tarihleri arasında bir hemşirelik bölümünde eğitim gören 500 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırma verileri araştırmacılar tarafından literatür incelenerek oluşturulan “Anket Formu” ile toplanmıştır.BULGULAR: Öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 20,1±1,6 ve %84,4’ünün cinsiyeti kadındır. Öğrencilerin %76,2’sinin adli hemşirelik alanını bilmediği ve bilenlerin ise internetten öğrendiği, öğrencilerin tamamının %100,0 adli hemşirelikle ilgili ders almadığı ve adli hemşirelikle ilgili ders verilmesine ihtiyaç olduğunu düşündüğü, en fazla cinsel suçları %87,6 ve aile içi şiddeti %78,8 adli hemşireliğin kapsamındaki adli vakalar olarak gördüğü belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin %68,0’ının adli hemşirelerin hukuk alanında bilgi sahibi olması gerektiğini düşündüğü, %71,8’inin adli hemşirelerin Adli Tıp Kurumu’nda çalışması gerektiğini ve %94,6’sının adli hemşirelerin dürüstlük özelliğine sahip olması gerektiğini düşündüğü saptanmıştır.SONUÇ: Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin büyük çoğunluğu adli hemşirelik alanının mevcut olduğunu bilmemekte ve üniversite hemşirelik eğitiminde adli hemşirelikle ilgili ders verilmesine ihtiyaç olduğunu düşünmektedir. Ülkemiz üniversite hemşirelik eğitiminde, alanda uzman eğitimciler tarafından adli hemşirelik dersinin verilmesi bir gereklilik olarak görülmektedir.

The knowledge and opinions about forensic nursing of nursing students

Öz

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study is to investigate the knowledge and opinions about forensic nursing of nursing students.METHODS: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 500 students who were trained in a nursing department between AprilOctober 2019. The research data were collected by the “Questionnaire Form” prepared by the researchers.RESULTS: The mean age of the students was 20.1 ± 1.6 and 84.4% of the students were female. It was found that 76.2% of the students do not know that there is a forensic nursing area and all students 100.0% do not take courses related to forensic nursing. The forensic nursing need to be taught as forensic cases covered by forensic nursing about the most sexual crimes 87%, 6 and domestic violence 78.8% It was found that 68.0% of the students think that forensic nurses should have knowledge in the field of law, 71.8% of them think that forensic nurses should work in the Forensic Medicine Institution and 94.6% think that forensic nurses should have honesty.CONCLUSION: The majority of nursing students do not know that there is a forensic nursing field and think that forensic nursing courses should be given in university nursing education. In our country’s university nursing education, forensic nursing education to give by professional educator in the field is seen as a necessity.
