Ankaferd Bloodstopper® as a Hemostatic Agent in Mucogingival Periodontal Surgical Procedures

Öz

Gingival recession originated by various reasons result in aesthetic problems and dentin hypersensitivity, poses a significant problem for patients. Pain, swelling and bleeding are complications encountered after soft tissue graft operations aiming to cover the gingival recession. In this scientific letter the useage of Ankaferd Bloodstopper® as a hemostatic agent for the elimination of bleeding-related complications after mucogingival surgery is summarized and recommended

Öz

Çeşitli nedenlerle oluşabilen dişeti çekilmesi gerek yol açtığı estetik sorunlarla gerekse dentin hassasiyeti nedeniyle hastalar açısından önemli sorunlar teşkil etmektedir. Açılan kök yüzeyinin örtülmesinde kullanılan yumuşak doku grefti ameliyatları sonrasında ağrı, şişlik, kanama gibi komplikasyonlarla karşılaşılabilmektedir. Bu bilimsel mektupta mukogingival cerrahi işlem sonrasında karşılaşılan kanamaya bağlı komplikasyonların giderilmesinde Ankaferd Bloodstopper® hemostatik ajan uygulamasından söz edilmekte ve kullanımı önerilmektedir
