Multidisciplinary Treatment Of An Immature Tooth With Endodontic-Periodontal Lesion: A Case Report

Öz

The aim of this case report is to present the multidiciplinary treatment of a child patient who had a periodontal lesion caused by necrotic pulp in her immature maxillary right second premolar. The first step of the treatment was apexification for inducing a calcified barrier and performed scaling and root planing. After 24 months, inducing a calcified barrier, the tooth obturated with gutta-percha and permanent root canal filling was performed. At the end of the 12 months followup, clinical and radiographic examinations showed complete healing in the lesion and no pathological signes or symptoms were observed for the tooth

Endodontal-Periodontal Lezyonlu İmmatür Bir Dişin Multidisipliner Tedavisi: Bir Olgu Raporu

Öz

Bu olgu bildiriminin amacı, kök ucu kapanmamış üst çene sağ ikinci küçük azı dişinde pulpa kaynaklı geniş bir periodontal lezyon gelişmiş çocuk hastaya uygulanan multidisipliner tedavinin sunulmasıdır. Tedavide ilk olarak kök ucunda kalsifiye bariyerin oluşması amacıyla apeksifikasyon tedavisine başlanmış ve buna ilave olarak ilk seansta kök yüzey düzleştirmesi yapılmıştır. 24. ay sonunda kalsifiye bariyerin oluşması ile dişe güta-perka kullanılarak daimi kanal dolgusu yapılmış ve hasta takibe alınmıştır. 12 aylık takip sürecinin sonunda lezyonun tam olarak iyileştiği ve söz konusu dişte herhangi bir patolojik bulgu olmadığı klinik ve radyografik değerlendirmelerle tespit edilmiştir
