Dental Seramiklerde Yüzey Pürüzlülüğü

Öz

Diş hekimliğinde porselen; estetik ve biyouyumlu olmasının yanı sıra fiziksel özelliklerinden dolayı sıklıkla kullanılan bir materyaldir. Gelişen teknolojiler ve yükselen yaşam standardına bağlı olarak estetik beklentilerin de artması ile yeni estetik restoratif materyaller geliştirilmektedir. Bu amaca uygun olarak metal destekli restorasyonlardan tam seramik sistemlerine ve CAD-CAM ile üretilen restorasyonlara eğilim artmaktadır. Modern dental seramiklerin uzun vadeli klinik başarısı bir dizi faktöre bağlıdır. Bu faktörler, malzemenin fiziksel özelliklerini, laboratuar üretim sürecini, laboratuar üretim tekniğini ve bu kırılgan malzemelere zarar verebilecek klinik prosedürleri içerir.
Bu derlemede seramik sistemlerin dayanıklılığını ve klinik başarısını etkileyen faktörlerden olan yüzey pürüzlülüğü, sebepleri ve sonuçları açısından değerlendirilecektir.
